Hello again all you lovely people! It has been a while!

I just had a lovely nostalgic time going through all my old deviations and journal entries from 2004 onwards when I was 17 and still in high school. It's so funny to look at how you change over the years and how awkward you can be on social websites as a teenager. lol! Being part of the dA community definitely helped me through those beginning stages of becoming a graphic designer though. Good times!

So anyway, I am back here on dA with a new username... unfortunately my nickname and usual online alias, 'spanna', is already taken so I went with my actual name, Anna Bramble. My old username 'amplifi3d' was named after my old business name, Amplified Graphics.

Since my last journal post in 2008, a few things have changed. In November last year I moved from my home town in Sydney, Australia to join my parents in Delhi, India whom had recently moved there in 2010. I left my full time job of 3 years and have started working for myself at Spanna in the Works. This was a crazy step of faith and something I had never thought of doing before and never even planned to do but it means I am free to travel and can work from anywhere in the world!

As for India, I have fallen in love! What an amazing country!!! I have started learning Hindi and am totally obsessed with all the Bollywood movies and music. It is such a beautiful, fun, loud and colourful place. Of course, yes, it is very dirty and there are some other negatives but they are far outweighed by the positives.

I also started studying at a fine arts college here which has really rekindled my passion for illustration which I'm planning to pursue further as more of a focus over graphic design but we'll see what happens.

It seems a lot of people have gone away from deviantART over the years but of course, there are always new people and I have noticed some others , like me, coming back after a long hiatus. Either way, say hello if you are still around and see this post and if you're new, please introduce yourself! I am so keen to get back into the habit of trying new things and working on personal projects, not just client work.
